This 3-day pre-tour includes visits to the Anne Frank Museum and the Dutch Resistance Museum, awarded as the best historical museum in the Netherlands. Amsterdam Pre-Tour | Itinerary


-- Tuesday Apr 28th
Depart from Toronto's Lester B Pearson Airport on your overnight flight to Amsterdam. [Dinner and breakfast will be served onboard]


Day 1 - Wednesday Apr 29th

Upon arrival at Schiphol International Airport, you will meet your driver at the Arrivals Meeting Point, before continuing to Amsterdam. After dropping off your bags, enjoy a walk with our city map to orient yourself before lunch. In the afternoon, head to the Blue Boat docks, opposite the Heineken Brewery for a canal cruise of the city, before returning to your hotel for check-in. Day 2 - Thursday Apr 30th 

Enjoy a full day to explore the City of Amsterdam in the light of Liberation, with visits to the Anne Frank House, preserving the hiding place the wartime diarist. After lunch, you will meet your local battlefield guide who will tell the story of the Dutch people in World War II, as you walk together through canals and corridors to The Dutch Resistance Museum, awarded as the best historical museum of the Netherlands. Tonight, return to your hotel to enjoy our dinner and overnight at your own pace. [Overnight - Amsterdam 3* Centrally Located TBC (B)]


Day 3 - Friday May 1st

Enjoy the full day to explore Amsterdam at your own pace. May we suggest optional excursion to Zaanse Schans. An impressive collection 18th/19th-century Dutch windmills and wooden houses were relocated here to re-create a historic and traditional dutch village. Or perhaps a day trip up to Giethoorn the Venice of the Netherlands. This afternoon, return to Amsterdam for a free afternoon to explore the city. Perhaps you’d like to visit the Bloemenmarkt – the world’s only floating flower market, or the Rijksmuseum [Overnight - Amsterdam 3* Centrally Located TBC (B)] 


Day 4 - Saturday May 2nd

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Schiphol Amsterdam airport for your continuation on to the Holland Liberation Group Program.
